Licensed Practical Noogiest
This was a fashion show - but she actually worked numerous rounds as a therapy dog. One of the neatest things that ever happened was a direct hit on a man who hadn't spoken and seemed almost paralyzed since he'd arrived at a nursing home. The 'real' nurses were amazed when he smiled and locked her in a hug. She had free run (on a long leash) in most places ... and refused to be ignored. Most of the time it was all I could do to keep up with her. Soooo many laps and beds to jump into.
A related story involves certain bureaucratic mental deficients who attempted to cancel one of her kissing booth engagements. Everything was all set, Lib's smiling face was on all the advertising for an Arthritis Fountation fund-raiser to be held in a municipal building. Due to a variety of media criticism I had instigated regarding city-funded animal control practices, I was informed "the dog" would have to be insured for $10,000 for the day (get the picture?). Mind you, this was in Florida, years ago. I make no allusion to other/current official wisdom. (That's for another page.)
It took two days worth of phone calls but I found a policy. I informed the city of compliance and added "We look forward to getting that first bite out of the way. We've been practising on kittens - can't wait to let loose on babies and the otherwise feeble."
They upped the ante to a cool million. Got that policy too - those city clowns really should have checked Lib's credentials - who would argue with reference letters from nuns!
Please see Lib Money for another fund-raising idea.

She'll get back to you a.s.a.p.

Friends, relatives, wit, wisdom and stuff that'll really get ya ...
